PROTECT THE FUTURE OF THE AFTERMARKET

The Auto Care Political Action Committee (ACPAC) is a vital resource at our disposal to carry the message of the aftermarket and educate members of Congress about the issues that are important to the industry.  With ACPAC growing each year, leaders of the auto care industry have been steadfast supporters of ACPAC and its mission.

Last year, government affairs and advocacy efforts played a vital role in protecting our business.  By having the funds to support members of Congress on key committees, Auto Care has been able to keep those lawmakers informed of the challenges we face due to COVID-19 and keep our business open. These dollars are given on both sides of the aisle and spent wisely to build our relationships with the legislators who will make the decisions that affect our industry.

However, also this last year, ACPAC and funds like it,  ran a bit behind their normal fundraising marks.  ACPAC raised over $200,000 in 2020, but spent nearly every dime on the important races that shaped a new Congress in 2021.  On top of that, a new class of Freshman will be bombarded by the many trade associations and businesses that will vie for their limited time in the coming months.  ACPAC needs funds to help create relationships to continue the work.  It is never done.

We have a goal of $5,000 to raise as a community and we can get there with your help.  This is the time to be a leader in our industry- we need you to join us today.
